BC&E Membership Benefits
As a member of the BC&E, you receive a wealth of opportunities.
Connect with industry leaders, potential business partners and suppliers, and find contract opportunities.
BC&E events are laid-back, informative, productive and fun. Our programming includes networking events, our annual spring golf outing, project tours and educational sessions. We also host an annual Bull & Oyster Roast and Craftsmanship Awards.
Promote your business to a diverse audience.
BC&E creates opportunities for members to showcase their companies to individuals who make a difference. Opportunities include the annual Construction Industry Expo, the BC&E Membership Directory — the go-to reference for many Maryland companies looking for construction services, features in our monthly newsletter, The eXchange, and on the BC&E website and through social media.
Earn awards for outstanding craftsmanship.
BC&E’s Annual Craftsmanship Awards honor individuals who have demonstrated exemplary skill and workmanship on construction projects in the Baltimore-Washington area. Unlike most awards programs that honor project owners or company executives, the BC&E Craftsmanship Awards recognize highly skilled workers in a wide range of construction specialties, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing installation, sheet metal/HVAC work, and historic restoration.
Learn about future projects, new technologies, market trends and best practices.
BC&E is committed to supporting excellence in the construction industry through education. Each year, we host educational events with session topics that include project opportunities around the Baltimore-Metropolitan area, market analysis by industry experts, labor laws, technology advances and so much more.
Give back to the construction industry and the Baltimore community.
The Building Congress & Exchange Foundation provides BC&E members with opportunities to give back to the construction industry and the community at large. Every year, the foundation gives scholarships to high school students to help them in their future career in construction or design. The foundation awards grants to local schools and organizations to cover the cost of construction/design instruction and tools.
