BC&E Foundation Harford Tech House Tour

  •  May 1, 2014
     5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The construction students at Harford Technical High School have constructed their fourth house for Habitat for Humanity.  The house is built in two sections right inside their classroom under the supervision of Mike Svezzese, a Harford County Public Schools Construction and Carpentry Instructor.  Students construct the house to a 1/8th inch tolerance over the course of two academic years, from initial framing through final finishes.  The Building Congress & Exchange Foundation invites you to see the finished house first hand before it’s moved from the classroom to its permanent location.  Learn about the construction curriculum being advanced at Harford Tech, the innovations developed by students and the social benefits of their results.
