Block Kids at Kennedy Krieger Fairmount

For over 20 years, NAWIC Baltimore has conducted their chapter’s Block Kids building competition at the Kennedy Krieger School’s Fairmount Campus. If you have never participated in this event, it is truly a special day for both students and volunteers alike.

The Block Kids event is a nationally-held block building competition (think Legos) meant to foster an interest in the construction industry among elementary school children. This event is remarkable as they are the only NAWIC Chapter to do their event at a school for kids with special needs.

They are looking for both volunteers and sponsors to make this event happen.
